"Sunset": Discover the beautiful and untouched nature of Ariège in Southern France near the Spanish border, not far from Andorra, about 95 kms south of Toulouse. Our property of 30 hectars (75 acres) is situated at 730 m above sea level, surrounded by an immense communal forest. From the house you can start hiking into the mountains. You can also enjoy our beautiful black mountain horses and a swimming pool with a magnificent view down the valley. Nearby are interesting villages and small towns providing much attractions for tourists. The market every Saturday at St Girons is very famous and people come from far away to watch the buzzing activities, the musicians and appreciate most of all the variety of local products sold. You may visit the near by snake farm, prehistorical caves and take a swim in beautiful lakes nested in the rolling hills. Sunset is situated about 3.5 kms from the village of Rimont. Airports: Toulouse and Carcassonne about 1.5 hours.
